We operate an invitation-only experiential events and growth network business for senior business leaders, and provide event management and fractional CMO services to clients, trading as GEM Experiential.

We collect this data from the following sources:

  • Event registration forms on our website (gemexperiential.co.uk), powered by Wix

  • Direct email enquiries and correspondence

  • Publicly available professional information, including LinkedIn profiles, identified through LinkedIn Sales Navigator
     

3. Legitimate interests
 

Where we rely on legitimate interests as our lawful basis for processing, our legitimate interest is in building and operating a curated professional events community for senior marketing leaders, including identifying and inviting suitable candidates, managing event attendance, and maintaining ongoing professional relationships.

 

We have assessed that our legitimate interests are not overridden by your interests or rights, given that:

  • All individuals we contact hold senior professional roles and the communications are relevant to their professional capacity

  • We keep personal data only for as long as necessary

  • You can opt out of communications from us at any time

  • Manage event registrations and attendance

  • Send pre-event information, reminders, and post-event communications

  • Maintain our prospect and guest database for future events

  • Our email platform provider, as a data processor on our behalf

All third-party processors we use are required to handle your data in accordance with applicable data protection law.

We review our data holdings annually and delete data that is no longer needed.
